See America: Joshua Tree

Originally designed as part of a student project, this poster illustration series took on a life of its own and has been featured in numerous nationally-sold products, most notably in a t-shirt campaign for Target.
Created as a part of the Creative Action Network's See America campaign, this poster takes inspiration from the desert, long days, road trips, and big skies. Joshua Tree is full of wonders; it is just as fun to take the day to drive through the park as it is to stop and explore one of the sites. I tried to capture the particular sense of magic felt within the park through the use of color and texture on this poster.
